WANC 45: The Inevitable Interview Ultimatum
This week on the podcast we interview Javier Grillo-Marxuach … not just because he has an interesting name that Jason can’t fathom pronouncing, but also because he was the writer-producer of The Middleman tv series, quite possibly the most awesome show to ever grace television. Subliminal chants of “One Of Us” seem to resonate throughout the episode as we discuss his background in television, The Middleman, Dungeons and Dragons, and the real reason why Javi never got an Easy Bake Oven.

Great interview guys! This was a lot of fun Javi was way cool!!
Loving this new opening a lot ^-^ though I do wonder how often you’ll find amusing quotes to put in even as funny as you are.
Gods you guys geeked out so hard this episode it was really great. The interview was really great especially becuase Javier just sort of clicked with your guys natural flow.
Medieval insurance salesmen… I can almost picture that.
Costco sells everything, I wouldn’t be surprised to see little people there.
I can’t help but wonder if we knew Javi in high school and then had our memories erased at some point, we clicked so well. He was more like a long lost friend than an interview.
As far as the music and the quotes. Thanks, I like the new music too. I think tech upgrades are mostly to credit for the improved sound. The plan was to have standardized quotes that would be the same every episode, and maybe just switch them out occasionally. I’ve just been having fun playing with it.
Bill?
Where are you Bill?
The completely random and anonymous listeners in the Seattle/Tacoma area demand the return of Bill Hook. He is is smart, funny, and oh so sexy. Have you considered releasing a 16 month Bill Hook Swimsuit Calendar? We just can’t get enough of that guy.
He is all the cool!!!!
Anonymous Fan from Seattle, not named Bill you see there is the crux of the problem. He may be all the cool, but this is the We Are NOT Cool podcast. His star shines too bright for us now.
Hey, thanks for playing our promo. I just realized, however, that it doesn’t actually make any mention of our URL. Chalk it up to inexperience. Or obesity. Either one, really. At any rate, if anyone’s interested you can find us at:
http://www.ijusthadaterriblethought.com
or
http://www.ijhatt.com
Sorry about not including a link. We normally do. That was my oversight and has been corrected in the show notes.
Nah, no worries. When I said “it doesn’t actually make any mention of our URL” I meant our promo. Not once in our promo do we say the web address. We are dummies.
Thanks again.
Also you need to start putting the last ‘t’ in thought when you type your URL. I corrected it in the first post but ya did it again in the above post.
