So how come we can only hear Jason on the podcast?
Because he is a controlling bastard and is out to take over the whole damn show!
Just a recording glitch actually! some how he’s moving in stereo and the rest of us were not. You can hear us on the left channel.

Wow! People are actually listening!!!!!!
I listened again tonight, and I really enjoyed it. You guys remind me of a group of friends I hang out with from time to time. I know to some people it probably sounds like inane chatter, but some of us actually find it entertaining, and in some cases informative. The movie stuff was really interesting, especially hearing about them from true comic book geeks.
Anyways, I was also curious about how you cleaned up the audio, so that we could hear everybody? I am a complete newbie when it comes to audio recording.

As to how we fixed the audio;
We use Skype to do a conference all so we don’t all have to get together. Because of how it works, if you try to record it just directly from your computer, you either get your voice, or the voice of everyone else, not both together. To get around this I record my voice from the call directly from a fairly nice USB microphone, so it comes out in stereo. I feed the audio from the Skype call into my mp3player. Because of this everyone else is recorded in mono, not stereo.
I use a program called Audacity to mix the two recordings together into one and do other editing with. Since I’m kind of new to it myself I didn’t do it right the first time and the end result was that I was still in stereo and nobody else was, so they would only play through one channel (the left side). Since I still had the original recordings I just needed to go back into Audacity and tel it to make the whole thing Mono so everyone could be heard over both the left and right channel.
Aha! Things and stuff tried to conspire to keep me from posting (hmmm for some reason I can’t be my usual self while signing in which is curious but hey I can always make a new self because hey, I’m always talking to myself anyoldhow…) However, being a resourceful self I said, hey self, make a new self so I did, and here I am. Proof that I love ya’ll so much I’m all for multiple personalities or something like that.
Okay the show was great. Even better than before! I laughed so much (especially after it got fixed and I could hear everyone) that I have listened to it a couple of times now when I really needed a good laugh. (Trust me – my weekend after Cave went to hell in a hurry and I needed that) Not to mention there were some really good thought provoking moments there (yes even some which didn’t require the use of alcohol or any other substances!)
I also have to say that you guys rock! I sent my email and everyone responded and it was great. Not only was there info and kindnesss toward your fan base, but it was amusing as well. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOT for that! Thanks guys! I cannot wait until your next podcast. Please, please, please make it soon! WTG and WHOOT for WANC!!!!! (hey that would be a good thinig for merchandising. You can use it with my blessing. ROFL)

Bear just let us know about your digital cave. Rather cool. I thought it was fun that AnnE was the first fan. So you went to a bar where you had to go 6 flights of stairs to go to the john? Why didn’t you just buy a pitcher and then pee in it under the table? No 6 flights of stairs for Unclelahr, just a pitcher of pee at the end of the night.

Pee in a pitcher huh? Well what if while you’re taking the pee you’re talking and you have a pitcher of beer in one hand and a pitcher of pee in the other and they get mixed up what would ya do then?!!! Could be REALLY nasty!!!
